Toyosi Emmanuel

My journey at Notion indirectly started back in September 2018, when I was fresh out of university working in Fund Administration. With Notion being one of my many clients, I worked closely with the back-office team at Notion on the Fund accounts, managing the quarterly reporting process, capital calls, payments and other day to day transactions.

Fast forward to October 2021, now a Chartered Accountant, I was given the privilege of becoming a direct member of the Notion Family as I joined the back-office team to assist with all things finance. I help with accounting tasks such as the supervision of the quarterly Fund accounts, production of the company accounts, managing the payments process, valuations, banking and many more. I look forward to greater exposure into the invigorating world of VC.

When I’m not fixated on numbers and spreadsheets, my entrepreneurial side shines as I run my own bespoke events decorating company with my mum and my sister. The COVID-19 pandemic pushed me to come out of my comfort zone and plunge myself into a cause I am passionate about, making things look pretty! Being at Notion around enthusiastic and courageous individuals is encouraging and drives me to want to adopt a similar mindset in all my endeavours.
