I was born and raised in South Tyrol in a German-speaking family in the north of Italy, shaped by a mix of Italian and Austrian cultures and a childhood spent skiing, hiking and dancing classical ballet. That combination of discipline and curiosity stayed with me when I moved to London at sixteen for boarding school and later to Milan to study Economics and Management at Bocconi. I have always been drawn to new perspectives, which led me to a semester in Seoul and internships in Paris and Berlin.
My introduction to venture came through Innovis VC, Europe’s largest student-run VC organisation. I joined the Milan hub and later the European Board, opening new hubs in Amsterdam and Berlin, collaborating with VCs across Europe and launching a startup consulting initiative for early stage founders. It was there that I realised how much I enjoy working with ambitious teams and being close to the energy of people building something new.
Before joining Notion Capital, I spent time in traditional finance. In Berlin, I worked with Deutsche Bahn’s M&A team on the Schenker sale process, then later at BDO I focused on transaction services, supporting companies across the full deal cycle. These experiences sharpened my analytical thinking and showed me how decisions play out inside an organisation.
At Notion Capital, I cover Southern Europe and Benelux. I spend most of my time on application layer AI and vertical SaaS, and I get particularly excited about founders with high conviction, big goals and a genuine belief in what they are creating.
When I am not working, I am doing sports. Skiing in winter, windsurfing in summer and otherwise immersed in a new subject I want to learn about.
