Laura Tyler

I joined Notion in January 2024 and am responsible for all things legal - from guiding the Investment Team on the negotiation and execution of investments and divestments, to fundraising matters and supporting our portfolio companies with day-to-day queries.

Prior to Notion, I worked in private practice at Herbert Smith Freehills (including a secondment in-house at Clearbank) and Bird & Bird. In my most recent role, I was General Counsel and Company Secretary at MADE.COM, and member of the Executive team. During my time at MADE, I was responsible for all workstreams relating to the company’s IPO on the LSE in 2021, and then in 2023 I led the legal and governance work to support the MADE restructuring and refinancing plans, and ultimately its decision to appoint administrators. I greatly value the operational experience I gained during my time at MADE and look forward to putting it to good use in my role at Notion.

Outside of work you’ll find me on the tennis court, the yoga mat or travelling somewhere far-flung in a bid to find some waves to surf.
