JooBee Yeow

I was born and raised in Malaysia, before moving to the UK. I’ve always been a geek🤓, a lover of knowledge and a believer of possibilities (as evidenced by my squiggly career journey!).

I am not your typical HR leader. As a trained Systems Engineer with a PhD. in Leadership Development, I am both highly logical🖖 and creative. I decode the relationships between people, structure and process into tangible actions to scale start-ups and deliver highly personalised people experiences.

I've had the pleasure of enabling founders of Infogrid, Blexr, MOO, Itech Media & Culture Trip to scale their start-ups, as well as consulting clients such as Marshmallow, Learnerbly, Schibsted (Sphock, Leboncoin, Subito, Done Deal, InfoJobs), Rolls Royce & Bosch.

Through my blog series, Scaling Start-Ups, and the creation of Learngility Open Source, I actively contribute to the start-up community's knowledge base by sharing my expertise. I’ve also had the honour of speaking at various VC and start-up events, including Balderton, Atomica, Forestay, Offbeat & Sifted - where I’ve provided guidance and advice to founders & HR leaders seeking to anticipate and navigate the challenges that arise when growing start-ups. I’m excited to bring my insights and support to Notion as Michelle Cheng’s maternity cover.
